Volunteers for Development International

Volunteers for Development International (VFDI) is a voluntary non-profit making organization based in the Sekyere West District of Ashanti-Mampong, Ghana. The mission of VFDI is to bridge the gap in education, health and economic development that exists between the rural villages, towns and cities in Ghana. We believe that volunteers from within a community and from outside the community can play a critical role in correcting the imbalance of resources that exists in our rural villages and can significantly improve the lives of the men, women and children who live there. It is for this reason that this vibrant organization has been formed to champion the cause of voluntarism in Ghana and to promote the provision of services to humanity on a voluntary basis.
